How StrataVote works
StrataVote pulls in up-to-date scheme and lot owner information from your existing software. It populates your existing templates (maintaining brand integrity and legislative compliance) and sends them out to all lot owners with an email address. It also works with Bing directly (or creates a PDF and mailing list if you don’t use Bing) so you can communicate with all other lot owners as efficiently as possible.
Lot owners can vote online on any device just by clicking a link in an email – no need to install an app. Votes are tallied, brought through into our Meeting Manager module and combined with votes taken from the floor. By the end of the meeting, your minutes are pre-compiled and ready to send out.

We first saw StrataVote a few years ago and immediately thought this was a great way to engage clients to vote at their meetings. Our first extraordinary general meeting notice was issued 18 months ago and we are now using StrataVote for all our meetings to provide an electronic option of voting for our clients with email addresses. Since I started using StrataVote over the last few months my productivity in having Corporations make their decisions has gone through the roof, without having to hold a physical meeting. The two prime examples are, a standard pet request vote and termite damage quotes. The pet request notices were sent at around lunch time on this particular day and I had all responses returned for the Owner by 9pm that night because the process is so easy to follow. The termite quotes which would also take a few weeks to deliberate were returned within 72 hours, which then allowed me to issue a work order immediately. The transition has been seamless and Matt has been great to deal with to hash out any queries I have.

We have been using StrataVote for a year now. We thought that providing our clients with an option to vote online would make it easier for both themselves and our office, as they would be able to submit their votes online and the system would automatically generate the minutes of the meeting. Strata Vote has made adding attachments to our agendas so much easier, as we no longer need to organise the pages in Adobe. The ‘Import Template Motion’ feature has also allowed us to generate agendas quicker as all we need to do is change the strata plan number and any dates that are required.
